Pretty as a Picture

The joyful couple: Ailbhe & Aidan

Some of you may be familiar with the beautiful work from a very talented lady called Ailbhe from 'pretty as a picture'... The most creative artist we have come across who focuses her creativness into designing invitations and illustrations for weddings. So you can imagine how chuffed we were when she contacted Joy's Flowers for her wedding flowers.

Not to leave her lovely husband Aidan out of the 'pretty picture', Aidan played pro-basketball in Wisconsin for a few years before returning to Ireland where he set eyes upon the gorgeoous Ailbhe when he interviewed her for a job, needless to say they hit it off & she was employed straight away! 

Every detail of every sketch was hand drawn by Ailbhe - from the Invitations to the menus. The attention to detail and the colour schemes are so eye catching...The bridesmaids wore different colour dresses and they worked so well together and really complimented the choice of flowers & ribbons...

Ailbhe only found out the morning of their wedding that we had managed to source the coral peonies that she always wished for...To receive a call from a Bride the morning of her wedding screaming with tears of joy is something that we would never expect and its just what Ailbhe did, it really shows what a beautiful person she is inside and out.
